FORESTER X is fitted with the base audio system, which comprises an AM/FM radio and single-disc CD player with four speakers. The system has a maximum output of 25 watts per channel, while the XS model increases that to 30 watts per channel through its higher-specification radio/cassette/six-disc in-dash CD unit. There are six presets and an LCD display.
