SKODA Australia has at last introduced the 112TSI petrol version of its Yeti compact SUV and, simply put, it is the car the brand has needed all along. , , Not only does it fill in the sizeable price gap between the existing front-wheel drive 77TSI petrol and all-wheel drive 103TDI diesel variants, but it also gives the Czech brand the ammunition to compete with bigger players in the booming compact SUV segment. , , The question is, is the new engine option sufficient to bring the Yeti in from the cold and help Skoda hunt more sales from the segment’s bigger players?
