THE Aero's brakes feature anti-lock (ABS), along with Saab's electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) system, to give maximum stopping force to the tyres with most grip. The system uses ventilated front discs and solid rear discs. The brakes are power assisted. The front brake discs measure 308mm while those at the back are 286mm. The handbrake acts on separate rear brake shoes.
