THE 9-3 is one of the few hatchbacks in the prestige category. The instrument panel offers a "Night Panel" function that shuts down all but the basic instrument lighting to minimise driver distraction, and all Saabs have heated front seats for winter comfort. Front headrests incorporate an anti-whiplash function, while the speedometer graduations are asymmetrical to allow easier reading of lower speeds. Of course, the Aero is the most powerful version of the 9-3, with 151kW.
