RENAULT is cranking up the temperature in the hot hatch segment with a limited edition Megane called the R26. Built to celebrate the French firm’s success in Formula One, the spicy limited edition R26 stands out thanks to a unique bright yellow or black paint job with several Renault F1 stickers and a numbered plate near the handbrake. It uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 168kW of power and 310Nm of torque. The front-drive hatch has a sports exhaust, modified suspension, grey 18-inch wheels, sports steering wheel, limited slip differential and Brembo four-pot brake calipers. A black version is $43,990, while a bright yellow version costs an extra $1000.
