RENAULT Australia has continued its rollout of the Megane II range with the most convincing bodystyle to appear so far, the stylish and clever new Coupe-Cabriolet. On sale from November, it replaces the original Megane cabriolet that was part of Renault's relaunch range here in 2001, but introduces a larger, stiffer body with a folding steel roof. Of course, all the Renault hallmarks are included, such as a high level of standard equipement and safety features, but Megane CC also offers something its Astra convertible and 307 CC rivals do not: the first standard folding glass roof.
