SEATS are velour-trimmed and are sufficiently contoured in the front to provide good lateral passenger support. Conveniently located inboard-mounted wheel-type adjusters set the backrest angle. Like most small convertibles, the need to provide folding space for the roof means the Megane only carries two rear-seat passengers. The front seat headrests are of close-contact design, which is part of a whiplash-reducing strategy.
