RENAULT’S funky little Clio hits the ground running, priced right in-line with the Mazda2s, Volkswagen Polos and Ford Fiestas of the world.

The sharp styling is self-evident, but it's the build quality, driving dynamics and overall value that stand out for us.

Yep, Renault’s days of being a niche player at this end of the market deserve to be over, because the fourth-generation Clio is a winner.

We don’t like Renault’s decision to keep the airbag count to four (despite the five-star Euro NCAP rating), but complaints are few and far between.
