THUMPING stereo systems are often associated with hot hatches such as the Renault Sport, though more often than not they're sourced from the aftermarket. There are no sub-woofers, amplifiers or tweeters in this package. Found far and wide across Renault vehicles, this is a simple four-speaker AM/FM radio with a single-slot CD player. The head unit controls are supported by an excellent set of controls attached to the steering column. Current settings are shown in the LCD display at the top of the dash. A fixed aerial is located just above the front windscreen.
