FIVE people can be accommodated in the compact confines of the Clio and all are supplied with a three-point seatbelt and head restraint. The cockpit contains dual front and side airbags, the latter taking the form of a single 18-litre cushion that protects both the head and thorax. There is no centre console, however the front doors have storage bins and the dashboard houses a six-litre glovebox and an open three-litre compartment directly below.
