THE sole transmission available on the Clio Renault Sport is a five-speed manual with a close set of gear ratios designed to match the characteristics of the 2.0-litre engine. For increased performance in first and second gears, the engine's rev limiter will allow the needle to wind its way to 7250rpm - 250rpm higher than it allows in the remaining gears.
