PORSCHE Cars Australia has introduced its 2007 Boxster roadster, which in both standard and S form has benefited from an increase in power and torque to its respective mid-mounted flat-six engine.

Priced from $108,800, the baseline 2.7-litre Boxster now has VarioCam Plus valve management, which adds 4kW (to 180kW) and 3Nm (to 273Nm) – and drops its (manual) fuel consumption rating to 9.3L/100km (down 0.3L).

The $134,600 Boxster S now has a 3.4-litre engine (up from 3.2), which develops 217kW (up 11kW) and 340Nm (up 20Nm) and improves its 0-100km/h acceleration, which is now down to 5.4 seconds.
