THE 607 boasts Peugeot's latest corporate look - with teardrop headlights peeling back over the fenders and the centre of the single-slat grille dominated by a Peugeot Lion. At the rear the all-red tailights wrap themselves around the corner of the tail and move quite a distance up the side of the car. "Long" is a word that springs to mind when confronted by the 607 in profile long, drooping bonnet, long front and rear overhangs and a long body. It looks good but seems slightly out of proprtion to the width of the car which seems a little narrow. The roofline is noticeably rounded in the style of the AU Falcon, although in this case it works better. The 17-inch alloy wheels mated to low-profile 225/50 ZR17 tyres add a pleasing touch of aggression to the package.
