WITH a transverse front engine layout, a long wheelbase and short overhangs to help maximise interior space, the 406 sedan seats four passengers in comfort, five in reasonable comfort. There are twin front and side airbags and the boot is also large and aided by a 60/40 split-folding rear seat.
