NISSAN’S evergreen X-Trail has long been a strong seller thanks to an appealing combination of size, space, affordability and versatility, and it’s more of the same with the Series II facelift.

But the Japanese medium SUV goes one better than most by standardising autonomous emergency braking and – in most variants – dropping or keeping prices static.
