Oz sour Note on Nissan compact car

NISSAN has released its all-new Note compact car in Japan, however Australian management insists there are no plans for its release Down Under.

Just as imports of the Micra light car have been kept in the starting gates, the Note has apparently also fallen victim to Nissan Australia’s bean counters.

That’s a shame. ‘Notable’ features on the Note include a new all-aluminium 1.5-litre 16-valve engine (mated to a continuously variable transmission), a multi-configurable cargo area and a spacious cabin.
