NAVARA has always been positioned as a utility vehicle bred from its larger, stablemate, the popular Patrol - though it shared little with the Patrol other than a Nissan badge until now. Patrol's powerful ZD30 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine has been transplanted into Navara 4x4 models, including the range-topping ST-R dual-cab, to give the line-up a big boost in power and torque. Nissan is no stranger to the 4x4 vehicle market and its Navara has for many years been a favourite with those wanting a compact workhorse with plenty of strength and reliability.
