NISSAN proved with the previous Maxima that it really did know how to build a good prestige car. The latest model adds more refinement, safety and interior space - at the cost of extra weight. The new car sits quietly in the mainstream as far as styling is concerned, although at least the new interior looks more inviting. The V6 engine is still a jewel and the pricing is nothing if not competitive.
