The updated Maxima range receives new 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels across the range, new look steering wheel and cruise control and an in-dash 6-stacker compact disc player in the ST and Ti variants and a "Drive Computer" which includes kilometres with remaining fuel kilometres driven since starting vehicle time driven since starting vehicle average fuel consumption and average speed.

These features are added to standard 3.0-litre V6 engine mated to an automatic transmission, dual airbags, air-conditioning (automatic climate control on the ST and Ti models), power windows and mirrors and an updated cruise control.

The 2002 Nissan Maxima range will be available for sale from September 10.
