Narva debuts EX2 LED range

BY MATT BROGAN | 1st Jun 2023

NARVA has introduced its new EX2 LED driving lights to the Australian market this week, offering what it says is “outstanding lighting performance and durability” in a range of sizes and with eight customisable coloured trims.

Replacing the Explora LED driving light range, the EX2 LED driving lights are available in four, six, seven and nine-inch diameter sizes delivering respective outputs of 4520, 9200, 12,000 and 19,400 effective lumens – and up to 700 metres range at one Lux.

Narva Australia says the EX2 LED driving light range is tested against the toughest conditions and applications available and backs its product with a seven-year no fault warranty.

The driving lights are constructed using a pressure die-cast aluminium housing and feature stainless steel mounting hardware, composite brackets, and a UV-resistant, hard-coasted polycarbonate lens. The EX2 LED driving lights are sealed to IP68 and IP69K (water and dust ingress) standards.

All Narva EX2 LED driving lights feature high-power 5W Cree LEDs that are said to provide strong lighting penetration and width “without dark spots or hot spots”, making them ideal for use in both on- and off-road applications.

Further, the design of the driving lights has the DIYer at its heart. The EX2 LED driving light range features in internal switching mechanism to eliminate the need for passing the wiring harness into the cabin. Narva says that in most cases, the driving lights are simply patched into the high beam wire and fused directly to the battery, with the connection of only three wires required to have the set-up operating safely.

Light bar versions of the EX2 range will be available soon.

The Narva EX2 LED driving lights are available at stockists now. Four-inch models retail from $189, six-inch models from $289, seven-inch models from $329 and nine-inch models from $399 with six-, seven-, and nine-inch models available as a set from $495, $550 and $699 respectively. All prices are inclusive of GST.
