MITSUBISHI's Verada is a more than competent player in the Fairmont Ghia, Calais class. In fact, it beats its home-grown rivals hands-down in many areas, especially in terms of engine refinement and fail-safe on-road behaviour. Built in Australia at Mitsubishi's Adelaide plant, the Verada uses the potent 3.5-litre V6 engine and is equipped in a manner that befits the class, with dual airbags, ABS, climate control and alloy wheels part of the deal.
