THE NM Pajero adopted larger, ventilated 16-inch disc brakes for improved stopping power. A load-sensing proportioning valve directs braking force according to how the load is distributed in the vehicle, sending less to the rear wheels with a light load, more when extra weight is being carried in the back. In GLS, a new four-channel anti-lock system incorporating electronic brake force distribution is available.
