THE TJ facelift, outlandish rear wing, alloy wheels and quad headlamps give the Sports a menacing bird of prey appearance that drops years off its previously middle-aged look. The revised 3.5-litre engine improves overall power, fuel economy and power-to-weight ratio. A driver's airbag is, at long last, standard across the Magna range though a passenger's airbag is unavailable on Executive and optional on Sports. The Sports and VR-X offer an INVECS II five-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic-style semi-manual shifting and close ratios to maximise performance.
