POWER-assisted four-wheel disc brakes are standard across the Magna range, measuring 276mm at the front and 258mm at the rear. Anti-lock brakes are standard on Advance, Sports and VR-X, while traction control is standard on the latter two with automatic transmission. The traction control system features trace control, which monitors steering input and vehicle speed and adjusts engine power accordingly, and slip control, which monitors the average driving speed of the left and right wheels and the output shaft speed.
