JUST about any chief car designer will tell you that facelifts are compromises - every time an upgrade comes along the essence of the original design is damaged further. But the Magna shape has aged well over the years, and this fourth makeover introduces some neat features. The most significant enhancement is the bonnet's raised V which forms a body-coloured centre "nose" section of the grille and incorporates Mitsubishi's three-diamond symbol.
