MITSUBISHI Motors Australia has released a limited-issue "Platinum Edition" of its Adelaide-built 380 large sedan, which has a claimed $4000 extra value over the 380 SX grade.

Priced from $30,990 for the five-speed manual variant, or $32,990 for the five-speed automatic, the 380 Platinum adds reverse parking sensors, a sunroof, rear spoiler, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity and a second 12-volt power socket.

Cosmetically, there's also platinum-coloured grille and bumper inserts, "Platinum" decals, colour-coded foglamp bezels and a silver dash stack insert.
