REMOTE central locking controls the doors, tailgate and fuel tank lid from distances up to 15 metres. The interior light comes on as soon as the opening mechanism is operated, while a switch allows the interior light to remain on for 30 seconds after leaving the car. An immobiliser is standard - as now required by law - while a remote-controlled alarm system is optional. But the lack of a locakble glovebox is a security concern.
