BMW’S Mini is in danger of becoming irrelevant at best, and something of an outdated fad at worst, because the basic recipe has remained unchanged since 2001.

While the new-for-2015 F55 5-door hatch may not entirely fix this situation, it does provide an unexpected breath of fresh air to a unique and involving proposition.
