MG Rover's ZT was based on the BMW-developed front-wheel drive 75 sedan, boasting a sportier demeanour thanks to firmer suspension, gutsier V6 engines and quicker steering. In '04 a rear-drive Ford-V8 ZT260 version arrived, but all ZTs stopped when MG Rover went into liquidation during 2005.
