THIS mid-engined MG impresses for its sweet, powerful engine and fine mid-engined handling. The ride is good too. It is a real driver's car. The power steering also works well. But the ergonomics take the shine off and it is a bit tight for interior space. It also loses marks for questionable quality. But it is an MG after all, which makes it the grand-daddy of all (relatively) cheap soft-tops.
