THE F looks like no other MG before it. Of course, every other MG had its engine at the front and the decision to move to a mid-engined layout meant the shape of the car had to change dramatically. The result is a striking, quite beautiful two-seater. Chief stylist Gerry McGovern said back in 1997 the design was so pure it would not stand a facelift - and for whatever reason, nothing much has changed since then.
