THE C220 CDI has as standard 6J x 15 alloy wheels with 195/65 R15 31V Goodyear Eagle NCT5 tyres. A full-size spare and toolkit are contained underneath the boot floor, with a warning triangle under the bootlid and a first-aid kit behind the rear parcel shelf. If an optional sports suspension kit is fitted, 225/50 R16 tyres are fitted to 7J x 16 wheels on the front axle and to 8J x 16 rims on the rear axle. In this case, a five-arm, double-spoke design is used instead of the standard star-shaped pattern. A range of AMG light alloy wheel/tyre combinations is also available.
