Borrowing many styling cues from the latest generation S-class, such as bi-oval headlights and mirror-mounted indicators, the W203 C-class banishes its predecessor's conservative, slab-sided look to the dustbin. With a radically sloping bonnet, steeply raked windscreen and muscular rear-end producing a class-leading aerodynamic figure of 0.26Cd, the Mercedes family appearance in the 21st century seems to work even better with the C-class's more compact bodyshell. Achieving every small car designer's dream of appearing bigger than it actually is, this is without doubt the slipperiest, most stylish C-class we've ever seen.
