MERCEDES-BENZ has introduced a C200K Sport Edition for its C-class sedan, wagon and sports coupe.

Priced from $73,500 for the coupe (with the sedan an extra $2000 and the wagon $6400), the limited-issue Sport comes with fat 225/45 (front) and 245/40 (rear) tyres on six-spoke alloy rims, as well as sports suspension, larger front disc brakes and callipers, bi-xenon headlamps, and AMG body adornments in areas such as the side skirts, front and rear aprons. The sports coupe also features an AMG rear spoiler.

The go-fast theme continues inside with a three-spoke leather steering wheel, steering-mounted gearshift buttons, heavily bolstered front seats (leather on the coupe), an ergonomically shaped gearlever, silver instrument dials and aluminium trim on the centre console.

All models also get a sunroof, with sedan and wagon also picking up features from the Avantgarde trim level such as climate control and tinted windows.
