MERCEDES-BENZ has introduced a mid-life facelift to the B-class range, but the changes are mainly limited to cosmetics, with revised front and rear treatments (grille, bumpers, headlights and tail-lights) along with new wing mirrors that are now body-coloured. Inside are some revised trim materials and new infotainment units that usefully include full iPod (and other formats) connectivity, allowing titles to be displayed on the central screen while the driver can operate it via the steering wheel controls. Mechanically, though, there is nothing to report. Prices increase by $400 on the unchanged three-model line-up of 2.0-litre models (a diesel, petrol and turbo petrol).
