THE basic MX-5 dash layout is the same as before, except the gauges now have a white background, amber back lighting and chrome ring surrounds. The Mazda logo now appears in the centre of the steering wheel. Swivelling vents on each side and at dash centre direct airflow. The radio is located above the heating/air-conditioning controls.
