THE standard AM/FM radio-cassette used on the MX-5 has been lifted directly from the Mazda 323. A speaker sits in each door, supported by two tweeter speakers. Audio controls are easy to master, though the oft-used power/volume switch is furthest away from the driver. A single-slot or six-stack CD is available as an option.
