THE luggage area will never be a strong suit of two-seater sports cars like the MX-5, but the flat and reasonably long boot is suitable for two or three overnight bags or a golf bag - and that's more than at least one of its rivals can offer. Luggage volume is 144 litres now that the spare wheel and battery have been repositioned under the cargo floor. The boot is also fully lined.
