HEADROOM with the top closed measures 942mm, while legroom and shoulder room are 1086mm and 1263mm respectively - and this translates to a snug, but acceptable environment for the two occupants. A folding "wind blocker" is positioned on the shelf behind the seats and is designed to prevent reverse flow of air and associated turbulence, keeping the cockpit warmer and hair knots to a minimum. The new soft-top is 1.3kg lighter and designed to withstand wind buffeting up to 200km/h. It also has a glass rear window with electric demister. A lockable compartment in the transmission tunnel is provided, housing fuel cap and boot release levers and a cup holder. There's also a glove compartment for storing items, which has increased from 4.2 to 6.3 litres in volume, and a pocket behind the passenger's seat.
