AUSTRALIANS love an SUV, especially when it wears the Mazda moniker, so it is no surprise to learn that the CX-5 is the best-selling crossover in its class in this country.

To make sure that doesn’t change, the company has passed on the full five per cent excise cut on to a model that has been subtly yet effectively improved in a number of key areas.

The result ought to see the classy contender keep its title for a little longer at least.
