BY TERRY MARTIN | 23rd Mar 2005

MAZDA Australia has upgraded its diesel-powered 4x4 B Series light trucks with the addition of 15-inch alloy wheels, wheel arch overfenders and auto-locking hubs.

Applying to all DX grade standard cab, Freestyle cab and dual-cab models, the changes are claimed to be worth $1000 but add only $200 onto the recommended retail price.

Furthermore, for a limited time the B2500 4x4 diesel standard cab will be priced from $28,990 drive-away and come with extra features including standard air-con, an aluminium tray, ladder racks, two toolboxes and a bull bar.

The baseline B Series, the 4x2 petrol standard cab, is now priced from $19,990 drive-away and also includes air-con, the alloy tray, ladder racks and toolboxes.
