THE Classic 626's anti-lock braking system is a four-sensor three-channel arrangement, which means the rear wheels are paired in terms of their anti-lock function. Not as effective as a full four-channel system, the arrangement nevertheless works because the most of the stopping power usually comes from the front wheels. The rear-wheel sensors detect lockup on either wheel, then activate the system to prevent both wheels from locking.
