MAZDA has injected some flair into the cockpit by lightly dimpling some of the surfaces. The front console holds seven CDs on their sides, while two cup holders are located in the centre console. The right-hand cup holder is a larger size. The centre console holds eight CDs and the lid doubles as an armrest The controls for the wipers and lights are on two steering column stalks. The wipers have intermittent control. There is a remote release for the boot and fuel cap.
