THE Protege's rear seat hip point is 25mm higher than front seat hip point to improve view. The higher eye point means enhanced visibility for rear seat passengers. The range of over-bonnet visibility has been increased by 345mm, while the front seat slide range is 15mm greater in the forward direction and 5mm greater in the backward direction. Rear seat legroom is increased by relocation of the front seat rear mountings from the side sills and tunnels.
