Market Insight: Diesel making way for electrons

-SALES of electrified vehicles – hybrids, plug-in hybrids and pure EVs – have grown 61 per cent in Australia in the first quarter of this year, filling some of the void left by a steady decline in sales of diesel passenger cars and SUVs.

 

-Diesel passenger car sales are down 45 per cent over the same period of 2018, outpacing the 17.8 per cent decline in overall passenger car sales.
