THE design of the seats was altered for the 2000 model year to provide greater comfort, without compromising "seat of the pants" chassis feedback to the driver. The traditional Lotus "pump-up" lumbar support for the driver's seat has been retained. High seatbacks are used in preference to adjustable headrests. Leather trim is available as an option. The passenger's seat does not slide fore/aft.
