Lexus upgrades RX400h

BY TERRY MARTIN | 3rd Dec 2007

LEXUS has moved to further distinguish its RX400h petrol-electric hybrid SUV from the regular petrol-only RX350, adding blue accents to the headlights, tail-lights, door sills and badges.

It also gains an upgraded "chrome package" applied to the grille and doorhandles and chrome-finish 18-inch wheels, while a colour-coded rear spoiler is added.

Inside, red or black wood panel accents are available. The doors now have an automatic locking function, while the security system includes an anti-theft intrusion detector. Pricing remains unchanged for the hybrid at $95,300.
