LEXUS has built a reputation for quality and service but by its own admission is yet to stir the soul and inspire a passionate following.

The RC F is what the luxury arm of Toyota thinks will change that, by way of the aural pleasure of a naturally-aspirated V8, and looks that suggest more than aerodynamics were involved in the overall design theme.

Involvement in local motorsport – at this stage in a non-competitive capacity – is also expected to gather the brand growth in its fan-base, as well as a drop in the average age of its owners.

Now the luxury performance flagship of the Lexus brand with the absence of the LFA, it's aiming to provide a liveable all-round package.
