MOST switchgear in the IS300 is provided in familiar locations and several convenience items appear to either reduce the number of driver controls or improve the driving experience. Hence the inclusion of headlamp washers, auto headlamp on/off, auto-dimming interior and external rear view mirrors, automatic up/down on the windows and one-touch operation of the sunroof. Stability control intrusiveness can be cut back via a switch on the dash, the driver's seat has eight-way electric adjustment, both front seats have in-built heaters, the steering wheel is tilt-adjustable and contains e-shift buttons, and the remote keypad includes a boot release. Cruise control, variable intermittent wipers, illuminated ignition key surround and vanity mirrors and internal fuel and boot releases are also provided.
