SINGLE-ZONE climate control air-conditioning is standard on the IS300 and mid-life upgrade to the IS series has brought a new look to the control panel. Temperature is still controlled using a trio of large dials containing buttons for oft-used functions such as demist, recirculation and air-conditioning on/off. Turning the dials controls the air distribution, fan speed and temperature. Other features of note include ventilation ducts provided for rear seat passengers, an external ambient temperature gauge on the centre console and, new with the mid-generation facelift, a clean-air filter built in to the air-conditioning system to trap dirt, dust and pollen.
